  • Richard Alpert was a Harvard psychology professor, who established The Harvard Psilocybin Project with associate professor, Timothy Leary, but both were dismissed in 1963, for giving hallucinogenic drugs to themselves and students.
  • The fired professors, then set up a communal group, that used psychedelic drugs, at the Hitchcock Estate in Millbrook, New York, to try to find a permanent route, to a higher consciousness.
  • In 1967, Richard, who wished to find a higher consciousness, without hallucinogens, went to India, where enlightenment found him in the form of a Guru called, Neem Karoli Baba.
  • Neem gave Richard his current name, Ram Dass (meaning “Servant of God”).

In 1960, Hefner extended the Playboy brand into a world network of Playboy clubs, however in 1963, another Pisces/Aries, the world renowned feminist of the late 1960’s and ’70’s, Gloria Steinem (Birthday, March 25), went undercover in New York City, for Show Magazine, as a Playboy bunny. Hugh Hefner, may have been king of the sexual revolution, but Gloria’s article “A Bunny’s Tale”, which showed how Playboy patronized and exploited it’s bunnies, made her queen!

  • Haley Joe Osmet played the pivotal role of the 9-year-old, Cole Sear, in the movie The Sixth Sense (2000), which won six Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor, for Osmet.

  • In 1968, Ethel Kennedy became a widow to her husband and presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy, who was shot, after winning an important primary in California. She was pregnant with their eleventh child, after her child, Rory was born, she raised her kids alone and never married.
  • Also in 1968, Ethel founded, The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, which gives annual awards each year to journalists, authors, and individuals, who help human rights in their country.
